What should an opening linen budget include?

Include enough bed and bath linen to support the full operating PAR, an opening replacement reserve, current unit pricing, freight or delivery, and a contingency for specification or quantity changes.

Why is the replacement reserve separate from PAR?

PAR supports the normal guestroom and laundry cycle. The reserve covers early stains, damage, loss and demand before the property has enough operating history to set a replenishment rate.
