Hotel linen PAR questions

What does linen PAR mean in a hotel?

One PAR is the quantity needed to dress every sellable room once. Multiple PARs keep linen circulating between guestrooms, the laundry, transit and storage.

Why does laundry turnaround change the recommendation?

The longer linen remains away from the shelf, the more complete room sets the property must own. Outsourced laundry, weekend schedules and transport delays should be included in the longest clean-return time.

Why does Havana 1960 recommend four PAR?

Four PAR provides one set in guestrooms, one at the laundry, one soiled or in transit, and one ready in the linen closet. Properties with longer turnaround, high change frequency or limited emergency stock may need additional closet stock.
